Today, Nov. 21, 2008 is a very hectic day for all first year students.
Why?
It is because there will be a contest among all 12 sections.
There will be a re-enactment about the past of the Philippines
Social Studies Is Our Subject Here
since it was our Social Studies Week.

Our class was tasked to role play the Japanese-Philippine War
Our topics will be about the war of the Filipinos against the Japanese then about the "comfort women" and the death march.
We're give only 5-8 mins.
We had about a 2 weeks practice.
That's short right? For you!
It was okay for us.
On our first meeting with our new teacher, Ma'am Sophia, she told us to choose whether to be a actor or be part of the propsmen.
Guess what I chose!!!
I chose being an actor. I chose being an actor rather than being a props men since it's a light work and you can be seen on stage!
Props men will obviously make some props, be behind those curtains and whatsoever.

Okay. All of us are told to pay Php30.00 to the props men since they will buying some props.
Imagine, Php30(39)=1170
Php1170.00
That's a big amount of money already!
About $24 i think.
You know what they did?
They bought about 16 white cartolina + art materials= ?
They said they will make the background, of course they will!
They went to my classmate's house and then they did it and one classmate of mine said that she went home already around 1:00 a.m. doing the background!
But you know what happen in the end?
Their background is soo UGLY!
Very UGLY!
The cartolina was almost torn up and it's very crumpled.
I ask them: "Are we going to use that?
Props man: I don't know!
I said "what". So stupid answer~
It's really ugly- too bad I wasn't able to take a photo of it.
Huhuhu~
I told myself, they are just wasting money!

Our director, a tough one, tasked me to be part of the soldiers who were part of the death march. Wherein those soldiers will march on a very long time and they aren't allowed to eat, drink, or rest or else "BANG"!
*you know what I mean*
my role there is just to walk and act like i'm so tired-though I'm not!

Everyone's kinda nervous but confident.

Okay I thought of writing a new post to continue this post but I got confused so maybe I'll just continue this! hohoh;P
Okay so when the day comes that we will present, everyone are busy!
At the afternoon, we are so grateful that our Filipino teacher gave her time for us to practice for our roleplay-So of course, we didn't waste out time and we practiced right away! Actually, our class didn't have/started on a smooth process since not everyone listens, follow, most laugh. What we are thankful is that our leader was fine, haha. She is strict a little but she knows what she is doing!
So after an hour practice, we changed already! Dress changed I mean. What I was so scared about is the "CHARCOAL!" Why?
It's because, us, the soldiers/people who will attend the death march are required to put charcoal on our shirt, arms, neck and face! I don't like it.
Eeew. I don't know what to do but stay away from their eyes. Huhuhu~
So they keep on looking for me and told me that i must put charcoal already but I refused I told them: "LATER"!!
Hahaha...
So when the program started, of course sine we're the third to present, we watched!
The first section was not that good, as expected from them. Haha!
I was kinda nervous-not really. I was a bit problemtic since I don't have slippers!
Can you imagine someone wearing, jogging pants with white long/big shirt sprinkled with charcoal + BLACK SCHOOL SHOES!, can you?
No way!
So I really need to borrow slippers from someone!
Oh Butt! No one's letting me borrow theirs, even my friends, I thought they were kind-hearted when they need their help, i help them but when I need my help-they act like faggots! Stupid!
So I lose my hope, was sad!
But they told me not to wear shoes anymore and just use my bare feet. Oh god, i didn't do it!
When it was alreadymy our time to present. I was nervous!
I had a conversation with my classmate:
G1: take off your eyeglasses.
Me: Okay!
--gosh everything is so blurred--
I am going to my place, we form a line.
Me: Hey, do you have slippers?
G2: yup, i'm wearing it now.
Me: ah kay, lols! haha
Me: I need slippers!
g2: you want to borrow mine?
Me: ..but you're using it~
g2: it's ok!
me: really? ahh thank you!
g3:hey put your shoes here in my basket
Me; WTF? ahhaa,, ok!

When our play started, everyone's getting nervous!
1, 2, 3 go! Narrator started to talk.
No one laugh, we are so happy.
Everyone did their roles right but we had a problem some of their voices can't be heard since the mic was too far from their place.
The props men did some mistakes! They didn't put the microphone down they held it up using the microphone holder while most of the scenes happen when the people are kneeling. Haha!
But at least, we had a A+ point from the judges since everyone really made their voices LOUD!
The super nice part was when our classmate (gay-no!) ahaha, acted like a crazy and kept laughing and laughing and did some funny acts! Haha..
After our re-enactment everyone was happy^^
I rushed to our classroom, get my extra shirt, rushed to the comfort room, washed my face and arms!
I went back to the gym and it was almost done! There was a break since the judges were calculating the scores. They held a mini quiz show, they will ask a question and you'll just run and answer to them.
We had some scores there.

When the time come that they'll announced the winners, everyone's getting scared and nervous!
Oh I forgot that before we had our performance or the contest was held at the stage most of us went to the chapel and pray..
